Sorry, but I'm going to call bullsh*t on this one. Urine, falling from a height breaks into droplets and does not form a constant stream that electricity can travel through.

Adam and Jamie did it on Mythbusters...... link anyone?

just cuz you can doesn't mean you should. My five year old peed in a basket in his room the other day. We didn't know until the room smelled really bad. Is peeing where ever you can some sort of male fascination? Seriously. I'd like to know so that I can understand my son a little better. :D Aand, maybe then I can prevent him from ever electrocuting himself. As if!

I do remember that myth busters, I'm going to guess he fell on the tracks while peeing, or just happen to touch it with a foot, otherwise the story is false.

From the article:"According to reports, the Polish tourist went to find somewhere discreet to go to the toilet and his urine splashed on to the live rail"

I've never been to England (one day perhaps). I can only assume then that there are public restrooms (is watercloset correct?) available to the public.

What more "discreet" can you get than, oh say, a stall?

Marking territory perhaps. :)

We are primates (as well as plime-ates) and they are well known to mark trails and such with urine. :)
