I've donated, and felt good about it. Then I learned that they charge the people who get the wigs, and didn't feel so good about it. I guess they have to make money somewhere but not from sick people.... please.

I donated to this group 3 times in 18 months. :)
I had hair that passed my belt and my boss kept "hinting" that I would look much more professional with shorter hair (since I'm a project manager and meet with alot of business owners and architects). I started out donating 14 inches, then another 12 about 6 months later. Finallly got rid of the last 10 almost a year after that. It's kinda crazy looking back and realizing that I got rid of 3 feet of hair. :)

They said it was based on need...so someone who couldn't afford it would get it for free, where others would be on a sliding scale for price.

Every haircut I've had since I was 16 has been for Locks of Love. I'm currently growing it out again for them, only 3 more inches to go!

Now if only I could find the group taking cellulite donations...
