He graduated in 1975, and moved to Melbourne as a senior manager within ICI Australia. After 14 years with that organization and a time as a Marketing Manager with Brambles and other positions, he began a career in the funeral industry as General Manager of The Centennial Park Cemetery Trust. He then moved to Brisbane to become the General Manager of Brisbane Crematorium Limited. It wasn’t long before that role expanded to managing 15 offices including several funeral directing companies in the Brisbane area. After eight years, he accepted an offer to move back to Melbourne to become the Chief Executive Officer of The Cheltenham and Regional Cemeteries Trust. For the next ten years he guided the trust through a significant expansion phase with the result being the development and successful operation of Melbourne’s newest and most creative 300 acre cemetery and crematorium. After over 120,000 funerals experience, John has specific interests and skills in working among emotionally distressed people. He has a finely tuned sense of awareness of peoples needs and is an experienced negotiator and team builder. Through his training and vast experience he has created this entirely new method communication to become a leading communications skill teacher and advisor.
