Bolivia grants nature same rights as humans
Bolivia grants nature same rights as humans

What terribly ambiguous word choice. What in the world does it even mean for nature to have equal rights to humans?

I don't know what kind of rights the Bolivian constitution guarantees for Bolivians, but almost none of the US bill of rights would make sense when applied to nature.

I'm not, in principle, against laws protecting the environment, but granting "rights" to a fictitious earth-spirit is a very bad way to go about it.
