I received my first postcard today, from Psycmoe! It is of a great redwood tree. Once I get home, I will edit this post and add it for all to see.

I haven't received any yet but I also haven't sent any yet. I haven't been to the shop that I want to get postcards from since I got the list of who I'm sending to, and I like to pick them out for everyone individually.

i sent all of mine out yesterday. would have been sooner, but i had a challenge getting the postage together.

they're all handmade, with a self-portrait of me and a personalized quip for each receiver. i scanned them before sending them out, so i'm tempted to post them here already, but i'll try waiting first.

I do regular postcard swaps on a couple forums, so I buy a bunch of local postcards to send out.

I just sent mine today...Had to do it before the stamps and cards were packed.

I sent mine out today, too, and I've gotten one from Meggy. I'll try to get it posted soon.

I took LH out shopping yesterday to look for cards and couldn't find any. :(

I sent them this morning.

I have been looking and looking at various drug stores, book stores, and other shops but no one had postcards. Not sure why, I mean yes, Tallahassee isn't exactly a tourist attraction but it is a major college town. You'd think there would at least be ones for the students to write back home asking for money.

After looking all over town, I finally realized that the Tallahassee Museum of Natural Sciences (which is also a zoo) would have some.

I'll be mailing mine this weekend.

Question for you guys - should we post pictures of what's on the back too, or just the face?

I just posted the fronts, last time. I guess it's up to you, if you want to share both sides.

I'll be looking for some local cards tomorrow. If I can't find anything I like, I'll make my own and send them out in a few days.

As of today.. I haven't received any cards.

I found a bunch at Barnes and Noble

Our local liquor/party store has an interesting line of cards and postcards. Not that I got mine there. And yes, I got local scene kinds of postcards, but by a famous area photographer I especially like.

We have a lot of shops around here that sell artsy and novelty postcards. I know of three places off the top of my head to look for postcards, and two of the places allow dogs, so it's likely that I'll go in there next time I'm down there :)

I'm a big procrastinator, but hope to get mine bought this weekend and sent out during next week. For those of you having trouble finding postcards, I can always find some at my local Wal-Mart, so try that.
