Police are to use unprecedented powers to force an entire town to stop selling alcohol and halt a beach party organised on Facebook.
The event has been advertised on the social networking site as 'the biggest ever beach party', with organisers using the catchline: 'Lots of people, lots of alcohol...f***in' rave.'
